A traditional, mild pale-yellow Norwegian cheese made
with cow’s milk, it has a white to light yellow interior
with large holes in it and a natural rind covered with
yellow wax.
It has a smooth, firm, elastic texture with a sweet,
pleasant flavour.
It is a table cheese that can be cubed or sliced. It melts or grills nicely and cuts into chunks for salads and cheese trays.
Available in whole or wedge form.
